Bio: 
Antonio Girona-García obtained in 2019 the PhD degree in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences by the University of Zaragoza; in 2015, the MSc degree in Soil and Water Management by the University of Lleida, Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Barcelona and Public University of Navarra; and in 2013, the BSc degree in Environmental Sciences by the University Miguel Hernández of Elche. Published 12 articles in peer-reviewed journals and 1 book chapter. During his PhD, he taught Soil Science, Soil Pollution and Degradation, Soil Evaluation, and supervised 4 bachelor thesis. He did research stays in the Institute of Agrobiology and Natural Resources of Sevilla (IRNAS-CSIC, 2014) and in the Moscow Forestry Sciences Laboratory of the US Forest Service (Moscow, Idaho, USA, 2018). His research interests are: the effects of prescribed burning on soil physical, chemical and biological properties, focused on changes in C dynamics; the long-term effects of non-native species afforestation on the amount and composition of soil organic matter; post-fire soil erosion risk modelling for forest management decision support. https://www.agironagarcia.com/
