CIMA Foundation is looking for motivated researchers to strength its Program in the field of “Forest Fires and Biodiversity”

·      Develop new models to improve fire danger forecast;
·      Strength the use of satellite data in wildfire risk assessment and management;
·      Integration of remote sensing data for phenological analysis of vegetation, including UAV and phenocam data;
·      Use of WRF including the Fire module as input of fire danger index and fire propagation;
·      Evaluate land use change and forest fire interactions under climate change conditions;
·      Integration of stochastic and semi-physical approach for fire propagation modelling;
·      Support the operative activities in fire danger forecasting and fire risk management.
