Capacity Building Handbook for End-users (D8.5)

This deliverable presents the results of the work carried out in Task 8.3 (Capacity Building) of the PHAROS project. The main objectives of this task consisted on the definition of the methodology to achieve the capacity building of the end-users in the use of PHAROS and/or the services and products provided by the System, setting the basis for the development of a training system for PHAROS and the necessary materials to carry out the training of the end- users.

Hence, this document defines the PHAROS capacity building methodology with the aim of setting the basis to develop a training programme for the PHAROS end-users. Capacity building can be achieved by training them in the use of the System. For this, the PHAROS end-users have been described and specific profiles have been defined according to the way they use the System or the products and services generated by it. Having done this, the capacity building objectives have been defined and the abilities to be learned identified for each end-user profile. Based on this, the training approach has been defined by detailing the necessary training materials and the educational plan for each end-user profile according to their specific needs in the use of the System. As a final step, the training strategy has been defined, on the one hand, to assess the learning progress of the learners and, on the other hand, to assess the training effectiveness with the aim of further improving the training system if seen as necessary.
