Towards Ecological Bushfire Management Models

A joined initiative of: RMIT Enabling Capability Platform, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European project GEO-SAFE.

 

The Workshop will focus on three topics:

- Ecological wager of fire and alternative practices

- Ecological data mining

- Ecological and ecosystem perspective in model-based bushfire management

 

The workshop is open to professionals from emergency management agencies, mathematicians and general public. It will invite to attend all those who are interested in ecological wildfires management models or involved in developing them, and it is expected to increase participants’ knowledge, understanding and skills in that process.
